Let’s Celebrate…….

The sun has been shining gloriously over the past few days and it’s got me thinking about the great Summer we have coming up. Looking at the calendar and not only do we have a number of lovely weddings to look forward to but also a number of 30th birthday celebrations. So I couldn’t resist researching some fun decoration ideas and here are a few fabulous, bright and colourful inspirations to be tempted by. I particularly love the pompoms!

Vegas!

Oh yes, we went to Vegas two weeks ago, and what  a crazy city.. We had so much fun walking around in Venice and Rome, watching people, enjoying great food. 

We stayed at the Venetian, perfect rooms. The pool is ok, we were not so impressed by TAO beach. They pretend to be so trendy, but sorry it didn’t look trendy to me.. They even dared to say in the afternoon that to sit on a table the charge was usd 200, but we didn’t have to pay it that day… yeah whatever. Sushi was eally bas as well. 

In the evening we went to Lavo, which unfortunately was dissapointing as well, no comparison with the New York branch. 

What did we like:

We loved the bar and restaurant at the Mandaly bay;  Mix, what an amazing view.

Also amazing good food at the largest Nobu in the World at the Ceasar’s Palace

For lunch we headed to Gordon Ramsey’s Pub and Grill, nice pub food! And very gentle staff. 

Next time I would love to stay in the Nobu Hotel and also try the new Hakkasan over there!
